Nowadays in the context of the formation of a new world order, both politicians and the scientific community pay special attention to the issues of cooperation and interaction of BRICS+ countries, which are based on the principles sovereign equality, cooperation and consensus, respect of moral values of each other. This article deals with the legal mechanisms to protect traditional values. Despite the cultural, economic and other peculiarities of BRICS+ member states and partners, each of them recognizes the value of human rights, especially the right to life and health. This article presents a comparative legal analysis of the mechanisms of its criminal law protection, which helps to identify the most interesting foreign practices and may be useful to draft the proposals to improve national legislation.
