Certain Aspects of Interaction Between Law Enforcement Agencies in Combating Economic Crimes
Annotation
The modern era for our country is characterized by the rapid development and complication of social relations, especially in the economic sphere and the area of preserving private property as a basis for improving market relations. The authors conducted an analysis of current issues arising in the process of interdepartmental cooperation between law enforcement agencies in the detection, prevention and investigation of crimes in the economic sphere. Given digitalization and the increasing complexity of cross-border capital flows, combating economic crime requires not only highly qualified individual employees but also a well-established mechanism for coordinating the efforts of various agencies. The authors note the objective need to institutionalize investigative and operational groups through the consolidation of their permanent status in criminal procedure legislation and the adoption of a joint interdepartmental order from law enforcement and regulatory structures, which will consolidate the efforts of agencies and improve the quality of disclosure of serious economic crimes.
