The publication is devoted to the consideration of the issue of state stimulation of the labor of the collective farm peasantry in the conditions of the Great Patriotic War. There are a number of legislative acts on the issue of providing collective farms with labor, concerning both increasing the labor participation of peasants and mobilizing other segments of the population to work in the countryside. The needs of the front and the military reality dictated their demands for solving food security issues and organizing agriculture, the main social resource of which were collective farmers. Under the conditions of the occupation of a significant territory of the USSR regions and the mobilization to the front, there was a sharp deterioration in the social resources of the village. The demands on the volume of agricultural production have increased, while investments in the countryside have decreased. Similar conditions affected the work of peasants on collective farms. The article analyzes the state policy towards the labor resources of collective farms and its implementation using the example of neighboring rear regions that are not directly involved in military operations and are similar in climatic conditions.
