The work is devoted to the study of the specifics of law mechanism of export control in terms of determining the ways of its further development. It has been established that due to the ever-increasing intensification of the dual-use goods circulation, it is necessary to improve constantly the mechanism for export control of such goods in order to prevent and suppress cross-border offenses in this area. It has been determined that the multiple movement of goods, including crossing borders of countries in crisis of political and legal systems, creates an opportunity to hide certain functions of goods, such as the possibility of hitting objects and people and committing other similar offenses. The authors come to the conclusion that it is necessary to develop regional and universal international mechanisms based on an interstate agreement on the export control of dual-use goods, an element of which will be the information exchange of customs authorities regarding the export of dual-use goods.
