The article considers landscaping as one of the most important tools to provide residents with a comfortable and safe environment for living and issues related to the need to register the right to elements of landscaping. On the basis of an analysis of doctrinal positions, current legal norms and judicial practice, a criterion has been identified that does not allow to assign elements of improvement to immovable property subject to state registration.
