The article analyzes the judicial practice of recognizing international economic sanctions as an act of force majeure and the impact of sanctions on the fulfillment of contractual obligations. It is pointed out that economic sanctions are gradually becoming part of everyday reality, ceasing to be perceived as exceptional circumstances.
