The study examines the role of ESG standards in the development of a green economy and sustainable development in the Russian Federation. The relevance of the topic is driven by the need to address growing environmental and social challenges. The methodology is based on the analysis of current legislation and non-financial reporting practices. The research identifies specific features of the national approach to ESG standardization. It is concluded that these standards are a key mechanism for integrating sustainable development principles into the real economy.
