Despite the fact that covid has now moved into the category of endemic (seasonal respiratory) diseases, understanding the reaction within the religious community to the requirements of state legislation during the pandemic of 2020–2021 seems important from the point of view of analyzing problematic areas within church life and in order to predict the strategy for the development of state-church relations.
