The article analyzes the new Federal Law "On the Safety of People on Water Bodies," with a particular emphasis on Article 27, which for the first time sets out in detail the conditions and procedures for the use of physical force and special equipment by State Inspectorate for Small Vessels (GIMS) inspectors in the implementation of federal state supervision. The author emphasizes the relevance of studying this norm, since it establishes a clear legal framework for the application of coercive measures, which is of fundamental importance for ensuring legality and safety in water bodies.
