Against the background of the global digital transformation of all spheres of the society, it becomes considerably more difficult to combat crimes involving the use of modern technologies, in particular, neural simulation. Expansion of the sphere of application of artificial intelligence technologies, including voice, speech, text conversion, etc., has triggered the origination of new crime types and brand-new types of expert study objects. Speech and text as intellectual deliverables of a specific person are a complex structure that consists of many components. The article describes relevant areas of development of forensic speech studies driven by the need for expert examination of digital content.
