The study examines the simplification of criminal procedural forms in documenting investigative and other procedural actions. In particular, ways to improve the main method of recording investigative actions — logging — are proposed. In addition, various points of view on ways to document the results of other procedural actions are analyzed, and a practical example is given. As a result of the analysis, the author suggests using the inclusion of objects and documents in the registry as a priority method of proof, taking into account its optimality and rationality.
