The article analyzes some aspects of legal regulation of criminal proceedings involving minors under the laws of the Russian Federation and the Republic of Korea. The authors conducts a comparative law analysis to review, inter alia, similarities and differences in the approaches to the establishment of the criminal liability age, imposition of pre-trial restrictions, protection of rights and legal interests of minor participants in terms of provision of procedural guarantees during investigative actions and application of video conferencing.
