The purpose of this study is to form a holistic theoretical concept of the civil turnover of digital objects as a complex systemic category of modern civil law, as well as to identify the essential characteristics of digital objects, the features of the subject composition and the specifics of legal relations arising in the digital environment. A systematic approach allows us to consider the civil turnover of digital objects not as a simple sum of elements, but as an emergent entity with vertical and horizontal connections. This study proposes an author's definition of the civil turnover of digital objects, formulates general and special principles for regulating the turnover of digital objects, presents an original classification of digital objects.
