The multiplicity and uncertainty of types of social security create great difficulties for the right to social security. Unfortunately, “umbrella terms” regarding types of social security are gradually coming into practice. They are absolutely correct, but at the same time they are absolutely vague. They are so broad in scope that they can include almost any type of provision to an individual by society. This makes it necessary to study the types of social security as legal phenomena that have an independent structure, essence and purpose.
