The article discusses the problems of qualifying the relations that arise between the subjects of platform employment. In the context of the transformation of the labor sphere, special legal relations arise between the subjects who enter into relations through digital platforms to perform work and earn income. These relations have not yet been legally regulated or appropriately governed. The article examines the characteristics of labor relations as defined by labor legislation and judicial practice, and suggests ways to resolve legal disputes regarding the nature of the relations that arise between the subjects of platform employment.
