The level of demand for informatization in legal proceedings is analyzed. It is demonstrated that digitalization of the judicial system is aimed at improving access to justice, which, in turn, guarantees the observance of citizens' constitutional rights to protection in court. The paper presents arguments for the implementation of digital solutions that support the development of pre-trial and extra-judicial dispute resolution methods and help citizens address legal issues at an early stage more effectively. Controversial aspects of the introduction of digital technologies into legal proceedings are highlighted, as well as issues of legal regulation and regulatory framework for the use of information services, technologies, and artificial intelligence in legal proceedings. It is concluded that the implementation of information technology in the judicial sphere contributes to the acceleration of judicial processes, reduces the burden on judicial institutions and increases the transparency of the judicial system, making judicial procedures more accessible to the population and organizations.
