The author substantiates the application of an objective limitation period to claims related to deficiencies in the results of work under a design contract, despite the establishment of the contractor's obligation to eliminate deficiencies in technical documentation, even if they are discovered during the construction or operation of the facility. In this case, the objective limitation period performs its inherent functions. At the same time, there are no legal grounds for not applying the objective limitation period.
