The article is devoted to the development of the sports policy at the modern stage. Foreign policy circumstances influencing Russia's national policy in the field of physical culture and sports are taken into account. A brief macro-analysis of the current era in Russia's sports policy is presented. The similarities and differences between the Russian, American, and Chinese models are studied. Commonalities of the Russian and Chinese models, as well as prospects for strengthening cooperation, continuity, and mutual enrichment are identified and analyzed. The author comes to the conclusion that the wealth of advanced ideas is a reliable global resource of the modern era. The next step in the development of Russia's sports policy is characterized as a progressive example for friendly countries and peoples.
