The article presents a set of socio-demographic, criminal-legal and moral-psychological personality traits of persons who commit environmental crimes in specially protected natural territories and natural objects. The conclusion is formulated that effective counteraction to the crimes under consideration can be achieved only if the individual characteristics of the individual are taken into account in the organization and implementation of preventive measures. The analysis of generalized data on the identity of the persons in question can be used when conducting preventive measures by district police officers, operational workers with the populationlivingnearspeciallyprotectednaturalterritoriesandnaturalobjects. It is essential to carry out individual prevention with persons who have antisocial attitudes and have previously committed or are able to commit the crimes in question.
