The article is devoted to an interdisciplinary analysis of the mechanisms for protecting the interests of children in family conflicts and divorce proceedings. It analyzes the legal mechanisms of protection and examines the possibilities of forensic psychological expertise, taking into account the priority of children's interests as the basis of state policy. In situations where family conflicts can have serious consequences for the psychological well-being of minors, the assistance of a professional psychologist becomes particularly important as a means of objective analysis and evaluation of the situation, and as an essential tool for resolving family law disputes related to the protection of children's interests.
