The article contains the author's review of the textbook for universities “International Criminal Law: Russian Concept” edited by Doctor of Law, Professor, Honored Lawyer of the Russian Federation V.P. Konyakhin.
The author considers two “key” points to be an undoubted advantage: 1) the conclusion that international criminal law retains its value for the Russian legal system and for state policy in the field of combating crime; 2) the meaningful “presentation” of the material in the context of domestic approaches to understanding international criminal law.
It is concluded that the textbook is a real “positive” of the domestic doctrine of international criminal law.
