This article discusses the specifics and purpose of reception functions in constitutional law. The initial and derived functions of constitutional reception are differentiated and analyzed. The functional purpose of reception in constitutional law and the significance of this reception are outlined, provided that the processes of improving the national public legal system are harmonized.
