In the work, the author studied the changing socio-economic processes affecting the state of housing relations. He identified current directions for the development of housing relations, the principles of housing law, and made a hypothesis about the transformation of housing law into infrastructure law. A proposal was made to introduce new concepts into housing legislation: “living space”, “digital objects in the housing and communal services sector” and to include several new principles in the fundamentals of housing legislation aimed at priority state support for improving the living conditions of certain categories of citizens.
