The introduction of artificial intelligence technologies into forensic tactics is outpacing the development of an adequate regulatory framework, creating significant risks in an area that impacts fundamental human rights and freedoms. The author addresses the potential use of AI systems by law enforcement agencies to support investigative decisions, including identifying pre-criminal behavior. However, the author points out that scientific doctrine lacks a comprehensive analysis of the tactical aspects of AI use in forensics, as well as the very concept of a "pre-criminal phenomenon."
