The article examines current issues of improving the legal regulation of the organization and activities of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation, taking into account the legislative changes and the modernization of its constitutional legal status. Based on the analysis of these novellas, recommendations are proposed for changing the composition, structure, and status of the judges of the Constitutional Court. Proposals are also made for regulating the competence and procedure for considering cases, which will contribute to the effectiveness of the Constitutional Court of the Russian Federation in exercising constitutional justice.
