The article focuses on the characteristics of the state's preventive function, which is carried out through the use of state enforcement measures. The article provides a rationale for the use of preventive control measures to ensure public interests. The following preventive control measures have been analyzed: official warnings about the inadmissibility of actions that create conditions for committing offenses or the inadmissibility of continuing antisocial behavior, individual preventive work, including administrative supervision of individuals released from places of detention, and a range of administrative warnings used by law enforcement officers to ensure law and order and security.
