This article examines the issue of tourist destinations related to the production of chocolate and the concentration of a large number of cocoa bean plantations. In many countries, their “calling card” is the local chocolate and confectionery factories, which cannot but attract tourists from all over the world. This study covers the analysis of the countries producing chocolate products and active suppliers of cocoa beans, the article is devoted to the consideration of popular “chocolate” tourist destinations, and also highlights the reasons for the development of this type of tourism and the peculiarities of the movement of chocolate products across customs borders.
