The article examines the legal status of digital platforms for participatory procurement in Latin American countries, analyzing mechanisms of public control and their limits. Based on a comparative analysis of the practices of Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, Chile and Peru, common trends and national regulatory features have been identified. The necessity of harmonizing approaches to defining the legal status of platforms and the limits of public control is substantiated as a condition for increasing the transparency of procurement activities.
