The work is devoted to the study of the features of the total legal protection of intellectual property objects. Using the example of the widespread model of cumulative protection of intellectual property objects, it was found that this approach provides an opportunity for comprehensive protection of objects, increases legal protection, increases commercial value and reduces the risks of counterfeit production. At the same time, the document identifies problems related to the possible misleading of consumers when using the cumulative protection mechanism, as well as the difficulty of proving violations of exclusive rights. As a result of the conducted research, an author conclude that the elimination of legal uncertainty and the improvement of collective protection mechanisms can ensure a balance between the interests of copyright holders and consumers, as well as contribute to more effective protection of intellectual property
