Procedural sciences, criminalistics, and forensic science pay increased attention to the concept of special knowledge as a fundamental component in the general system of knowledge in forensic examination. At the moment, the correlation between "special", "common", and "generally accessible" knowledge is undergoing a certain transformation. This naturally leads to uncertainty and a lack of uniformity in law enforcement when defi ning the boundary between "common" and "special" knowledge requiring expert involvement. Therefore, the issue of the content of common knowledge remains relevant.
