The article considers environmental protection and ensuring environmental safety as the most internationalized areas of activity in which international acts play an important role, and the study of international (foreign) positive experience and its adapted application in national conditions is one of the relevant areas for improving the effectiveness of environmental protection activities in order to achieve the national development goal of Environmental well-being. This approach involves focusing efforts at the national level both on ensuring environmental safety and well-being, as well as ensuring progress in globally important environmental protection activities.
