The article examines the provisions of the draft federal law «On the Militia/Police», which were not included in the final version of the law and were rejected at various stages of preparation and approval. The article presents the provisions of archival documents related to the activities of the working group responsible for drafting the law. The article analyzes individual provisions and regulations of the draft law. Some of these provisions are still relevant and can be used in the development of new regulations, as well as serve as a basis for research in the field of legal regulation of law enforcement agencies.
