The article examines the problem associated with the Federal Service of National Guard Troops of the Russian Federation not having the right to carry out operational search activities. The author argues that the Russian Guard should be granted such rights, drawing on arguments from various branches of legal knowledge, including the history of the state and law, the theory of the state and law, constitutional law, administrative law, etc. In conclusion, the author points out the main advantages of the legal implementation of operational-search activities by the National Guard troops.
