The relevance of the study is due to the problem of humanization of the Russian criminal law while maintaining the effectiveness of application. In science, there is no consensus on the essence and feasibility of applying administrative prejudice in criminal law, and various positions are ex-pressed on the use of this category in practice. The authors, based on the results of the study, ex-press their opinion and propose to develop a scientific concept for the application of administrative prejudice, which can be used to more effectively suppress crime.
