This article is dedicated to a comprehensive analysis of the mechanism for implementing national projects in the Russian Federation. It examines the regulatory, institutional, and financial aspects of this process. Special attention is given to the key stages of national project implementation: from the development of project passports and financing planning to the practical execution of activities and monitoring systems. The institutional structure for managing national projects is analyzed, including the roles of the President, the Government, and other authorities. An overview of 13 active national projects is presented, along with their budgets. The main categories of projects are highlighted: development of human potential, improvement of quality of life, and stimulation of economic development. The article emphasizes the significance of national projects as an innovative tool of state policy and strategic planning aimed at achieving breakthrough socio-economic development in Russia. Key challenges in the implementation of national projects and prospects for improving this mechanism are also outlined.
