National security covers all areas of life, the quality foundation of which is the law making and law-enforcement mechanisms of legal (juridical) security. In this regard, based on Federal Law No. 390 "On Security" dated December 28, 2010, the purpose of this work is to identify the threshold values of economic security using the example of the Southern Federal District, calculat-ing the indicators of correlation between national and economic interests. The study is based on the values of the GRP of the constituent entities of the Federation, the level of income, the life ex-pectancy of the population, and the impact of mobilization activities on key factors. For this pur-pose, a method of correlation and regression analysis and variance analysis was used, which re-flects the influence of factors on each other. As a result, regression equations were constructed, which show the changes and dependencies of the linear relationship between the variables. Based on the analysis, it can be concluded that the indicators of economic security of the Federation sub-jects of the Southern District are within acceptable limits for further positive dynamics of GRP growth.
