The article examines the validity of the application of statistical analysis of the state of migration processes in Russia. The accepted methods and methods of applying statistical analysis of the state of migration processes in Russia are indicated. The main conclusions concerning the results of the statistical analysis of the processes under consideration in Russia are presented, as well as the prospects for improvement available today, taking into account today's realities.
