The article reveals the main theses of the author's speech at the opening of the constitutional law section of the conference “The Power of Law and the Law of Power: The Modern Context” held as part of the Moscow Legal Week on November 26, 2025. It is argued that Russian constitutional law science has clear and indisputable guidelines that not only stem from the original content and purpose of this science, but are also officially supported at the highest level, finding confirmation in the logic of constitutional reforms based on the immutability of Chapters 1 and 2 of the Constitution of the Russian Federation. Two areas of promising constitutional and legal research have been identified: strengthening the foundations of science (basic categories, systems, and methodologies), as well as studying new social practices and applying new approaches to the study of power relations (within the framework of areas such as anti-corruption reform, biomedicine, constitutional economics, and information technologies in public administration).
