Today, the idea of active aging also aims to actively engage older adults in the workforce. The authors examine the problematic aspects of implementing the guarantees provided by labor legislation for these individuals, as well as the positions of scholars and practitioners on these issues. Suggestions are made for improving the legal regulation of labor for older adults. The conclusion notes that when expanding the range of labor-law guarantees for individuals of retirement and pre-retirement age, it is important to be reasonable: it is necessary to consider the economic interests of employers and prevent a deterioration in the position of these individuals in the labor market.
