There are a lot of significant transformations of the system of state control taking place today. These transformations are connected with the wide application of the digital technologies. They are aimed at improving the efficiency, transparency and information security of control authorities and the process of interacting with their controlled (supervised) objects. The sphere of internal affairs is transformed too. The author analyzes the trends of the introduction of digital technologies in the control authorities’ activities. Much attention is given to some difficult questions that have place when the digital control of internal affairs is implementing.
