This article reveals the conceptual understanding of the basic sources of constitutional culture and its types, explores the forms (models) of the constitutional culture of society. It is determined that the foundation of constitutional culture is made up of four fundamental sources: material, ideological-theoretical, formal-legal and legal-technical. Different combinations of these sources allow us to distinguish three forms (models) of constitutional culture: American, French (or continental) and British (English). As a result of the conducted research, the author concludes that each of the identified approaches to the analysis of forms (models) of constitutional culture has developed during the course of objective political and legal development and reflects the civilizational features of national cultures, of which constitutional culture is a part.
