The article is devoted to the adoption of a new Concept of migration policy aimed at solving problems in the field of ensuring the security of the state, traditional russian values and national interests. Considerable attention is paid to aspects that reflect the large-scale transformation of the entire system of migration relations in the country. The above allows us to assert a change in the approach to migration from socio-economic and demographic to value-oriented and restrictively safe. Finally, it is noted that realization of the provisions of the new Concept will allow to form an effective system of migration regulation, adequate to modern challenges and threats.
