Objective. Based on a study of constitutional norms and legislative provisions, to identify the specifics of legal regulation of the implementation of the constitutional right to education for a child who requires long-term treatment. Methodology: The methodological basis of the study consists of dialectical, systemic, formal-legal, comparative-legal, and statistical methods. Scientific and practical significance. The article aims to identify existing problems in the legal regulation of relations in the sphere of ensuring the child's right to education in a medical inpatient setting. It is proposed to enshrine the concept of "long-term treatment" in an act of the Government of the Russian Federation, which will more fully ensure the rights of children in need of such. Conclusions: The main problems requiring legislative solutions are identified, in particular, the need to enshrine the concept of "long-term treatment." Attention is focused on the principles of the indivisibility and interdependence of children's rights, which, in a systemic unity, do not allow the opposition and competitive implementation of some rights to the detriment of others. The author presents her understanding of the content of constitutional principles for the implementation of the child's right to education.
