The article examines the socio-pedagogical conditions for the formation of a civic position among young convicts as a set of social and pedagogical circumstances that surround a person and influence the formation of their personality. Based on the scientific works of B.G. Ananyev, N.N. Voloboyeva, L.S. Vygotsky, V.S. Gorbunov, A.N. Leontiev, V.N. Myasishchev, T.G. Rakhmatullin, S.L. Rubinstein, E.P. Strelnikova, and N.E. Shchurkova, the definition of the concept of “social and pedagogical conditions” has been clarified. In the last decade, people's project activities have been actively developing, and as a result, organizing socially significant activities for minors has become an effective form of organization.
