This article analyzes modern aspects of the international cooperation of the Russian Federa-tion within the framework of the EAEU. The author identified the restraining factor of the inter-action of the customs bodies of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union. Considered dif-ferences in indirect regulation of the flow of goods between EAEU member countries. It is em-phasized the need to strengthen the economy of the member states of the Union, as well as to reduce the gap between the levels of economic development of different regions.
