The article discusses the issues of planning the joint work of employees of criminal executive inspections, correctional centers and police on the prevention of repeat crime among persons sentenced to punishments not related to isolation from society. The opinion of researchers on the role and importance of criminological planning is given. The importance of conducting a qualitative analysis of the state and dynamics of repeat criminality, prior to the formation of a plan, is noted. There are also some shortcomings in the preparation of preventive action plans.
