The article contains a proposal for a radical overhaul of inheritance law through the introduction of the doctrine of bio-legal parity. The author calls for legislation to enshrine the priority of genetic kinship over formal civil status records. Key proposals of the study: the establishment of a federal DNA registry, equating the concealment of biological kinship with unworthy inheritance, and recognising cryopreserved material as a special object of the estate. The reform aims to eliminate systemic discrimination against “genetic orphans”.
