The article studies the criminological aspects of alcohol abuse among minors as one of the factors in the formation of deviant and criminal behavior in the modern Russian Federation. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the impact of alcohol consumption on the level of juvenile crime, the state of public safety and the exercise of human rights, as well as to the consideration of statistical data generated by law enforcement agencies and judicial practice. Based on the conducted analysis, the need for the implementation of a comprehensive and multi-level system of preventive measures aimed at reducing alcohol abuse among young people and preventing crimes committed by minors while intoxicated is substantiated, which in the long term will contribute to strengthening law and order and protecting the rights and legitimate interests of minors.
