The article considers sabotage as a social phenomenon characterized by its versatility, latency, and specific impact on society. The relevance of the epistemological analysis of sabotage is indicated. It is necessary to find ways to counteract sabotage, as well as to apply an integrated approach in the study of sabotage. Attention is drawn to the fact that legal studies have begun to be conducted to develop effective and efficient ways to prevent and eliminate the possible consequences of sabotage activities, but there are practically no political, psychological, or sociological studies. To bring terminological clarity to the semantic meanings and the relationship of the basic concepts, the author's definition of such concepts as the act of sabotage, crimes of sabotage, the act of neurodiversion is proposed. This approach will allow us to propose more effective ways to counteract such an anti-legal phenomenon as sabotage.
