Тhe work is devoted to the administrative and legal regulation of the sphere of provision of hotel services in the Russian Federation. The introduction to the study outlines the relevance of the chosen topic, which is confirmed by official statistics. At the initial stage of the study, the structure of administrative and legal regulation was revealed and its main elements were identified. The content of the legal phenomenon under study is revealed through the prism of studying its main components in the field of providing hotel services, namely, legal norms governing this group of legal relations and management entities. To systematize administrative and legal norms, a method of classification according to their legal force was used; as a result, the legal basis was built into a logical system, and also considered the key entities implementing management in this area and their key functions. The final part summarizes the results of the work and proposes other grounds (criteria) for classifying legal acts in the field of hotel services. Particular attention is paid to the validity period of the main by-laws, which is set at the end of the calendar year.
